Today my grandmother passed away. They started administering morphine on Tuesday night and she slipped into a coma yesterday. She held out longer than anyone expected. She was 94 and the last couple of years living a life she wouldn't have wanted (severe dementia), so I'm sad she has died but I'm at peace with it.

Now the aftermath. Earlier this week my uncle wanted to bury the hatched for the time being if.....
My aunt shot his demands down and he conceded, but you never know what will happen when everyone gets together.

I'm mentally exhausted after three days in the store on my own, not only dealing with the occasional pissed off customer (who wants to be helped by my dad and doesn't get the hints), waiting for news and not sleeping well. I've already promised myself that when everything has quieted down a bit I'm taking a day off work so that I can treat myself to a day in Amsterdam shopping and doing other fun things.

My condolences, Rumpelteazer.

I'm at Madrid airport waiting to board my flight home. Been working here for the last two weeks. It's a beautiful city, and I recommend it if you get the chance to visit, but it's still nice to be going home.
