This one is confusing. In a Renegade's Embrace by Cynthia Wright is FREE at Amazon today. I think this was previously published as Fireblossom by Ballantine in 1992 but can't confirm. GR has no record.

Correct it says so in the reviews the original title is Fireblossom. The author though has seriously updated and rewritten all her books. So a new title was probably needed. I have a few before she decided to do this. It still irks me though.

Amazon tells me I bought In a Renegade's Embrace back in 2012. i'm now trying to remember any of it... either I didn't read it yet, or it has vanished in the blur of all the other books I've read since then.

Help! I bought a book a couple years ago and now can't remember the title.

I remember it started out with a team of guys on a covert mission. These guys happen to be werewolves or some type of paranormal because the book talked of glowing eyes and their speed. That's all I remember the first few pages of the book was about that.

Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb is moving to St. Martin's Press (Macmillan) in a new six book deal. Seems like she's bee with Penguin (Berkley/Jove/etc.) forever or at least since she stopped doing Categories.

When she went to hardcover she was adament that the paperback be release be only 6 months (instead of a year).

I had an inkling she would be leaving Penguin when Leslie Gelbman was let go as president of Berkley Publishing Group when they merged with Putnam/Dutton in January. Leslie was the editor for almost every book she wrote for Jove/Berkley/Putnam (if not all of them).

Plus I'm sure she had a clause in her contracts that the In Death characters belong to her. She was unable to continue the Stanislaski series and others when she left Silhouette since Harlequin owned the rights, but she had a lot more bargaining power when she created the In Death world.
