These are all from scans that the Internet Archive has done of physical books. While I haven't tried any of the epubs yet, they are probably, at best, OCR'd from the scans. I'm planning to look through it to see if they have any of the books I've been looking for that aren't available as ebooks yet.

I had a look at the epub of Ancient Ruins and Archaeology, and the quality was poor. It was readable, but the OCR errors were obvious enough to be jarring. If you're going to go for any title, I'd advise sticking to the pdf unless you want to spend time cleaning the epub file. It's a pity as I have Ancient Engineers and Citadels of Mystery in paperback and it would have been nice to get that one as well.

The Internet Archive's "Emergency Library" is (1) A library, made free by eliminating wait lists, (2) has content from many living authors, made available without their approval - those who spoke out are very upset about it, labeling it piracy, (3) and is on dubious legal grounds.

Therefore I think it doesn't belong this thread.
