My neighbour bought a Sony eReader at the same time I bought mine. I got a M-Edge cover and she liked it better than her Sony cover. She was also jealous of my Kindle so when she sees the Oberon cover she will be even more jealous LOL.

I'm now attempting to make a database in Open Office Base to keep track of my favourite authors (with links to website to make checking for new book easier) and which books I haven't got. I've made 2 table, authors and books, now I have to figure out how to link them and what to do with Queries, Forms and Reports.

She also had a PRS600 but it wouldn't surprise me if she is going to get the new reader since she loved the Pearl screen on my Kindle.

Sorry to spoil your happiness but I do notice that the string of mine got loose a bit. Just a bit, but still I'm wondering about the day when it's not elastic anymore...

Does Oberon sell elastic strings in dozens?

Mine came with 2 replacement elastic strings, on the website is a video on how to replace them which seems pretty easy. I am expecting that the bungee used to close the cover loosens up a bit after time.

If the second one is wearing out I would just email them, it seems to me they're a company that give good service. Since the bungees can easily be sent by normal mail it shouldn't cost too much to get a couple of replacement ones.

Well, I received the extra cords too, but I'm just being overcareful... Having just one or two tiny cords sent from the US to Vietnam is considered a bit over the limit of normalcy here

Does it have to be 'their' cords? Can't you use some local ones? I've never seen the cover so I don't know if something special is required, but when my wife needed some thin bungee-type string, I found several different thicknesses in the 100 Yen shop - Hair ribbons area. One of those might help.

I just had a taste of a free sample of herbal tea that Twinings just gave me. This one was Ginger and Lemon. It was so good that I went back and soaked the bag for another cup. I don't know if it will go a third???

And I was very polite to the JWs that came to talk to bloke who wasn't home. And they even liked my work uniform that I am wearing at 11.45am. (purple kitty flannelette pyjamas) I should have brushed my hair before answering the door, I forget when I am so professional all morning on the phone and emails etc.
