On a Dutch website for nurse's watches I found a silver pendant watch, the only problem is that it's heart-shaped. That, I refuse to wear! For now I just use my big G-Shock watch when working and maybe order a pewter watch for normal wear. Last edited by Rumpelteazer; 06-30-2011 at 03:51 AM. |

Sensitive to the pin. In winter it won't matter since I wear several layer but in summer when I'm only wearing a t-shirt the pin might touch my skin. Considering I always have to make sure the fabric flap has to cover the hooks of my bra and I once had a horrible reaction to a bra underwire that wasn't coated properly (believe me that's a very awkward place to have an itchy rash!) I suspect I will react to the metal of the pin on my skin or through thin fabric.

I don't wear proper bras anymore. and now that i am fat and have boosies (still not too big) it is more difficult. I always wear a microfibre shaper crop top that seem to provide enough support for me. If I don't put on any more weight that is.
you might have to do what my dad does. he only uses a pocket watch. Very unfashionable, but solves having metal against your skin. |

I tried that but it doesn't always work for me, if something is free to move nailpolish works but if the it presses against my skin (not only metal but also plastic and leather) it gets irritated. I might just order one to try out, if my skin gets irritated I'll only use it in winter. |

went to a library at a college i went to. picked up a hitchhiker. fun times. the radio seemed in sync with the area. noticed this big billboard with a fat man laying across it. guess that's supposed to be new age or pomo.

Common everyday stuff here. If you don't recognize it, take a look here.
We see it on every billboard, train and bus schedule, menu, printed adverts, flyers, etc. It's nice not to have to dig out a pen and write down things I want to remember... Just point my phone at the QRcode and press the button! All the fast-food places, donut shops, etc., use them for their discount coupons. Just show the cashier your phone! If you have a Smart Phone, go to your free Apps location and download a "QR Reader (scanner)." You will fall in love with it quickly! The train and bus schedules change often here, and rather than writing down an entire list of dozens of changes, I just push a button and have the schedule inside my phone. Discount coupons, URL's, maps and phone numbers to places, etc., etc., etc. It's really convenient! Stitchawl |
