I think what Rizla was referring to is when a person had their account closed by Amazon and opened a new account Amazon figured out it was the same person.

If Josie's account were to be closed and opened a new one in hubby's name Amazon may look more closely at returns with that account as well. You are correct of course that a husband and wife can have separate accounts. Even if her account isn't closed, Amazon may still keep a close watch on hubby's account if one were to be opened.

I agree the moral of the story here is, never to put too many eggs in one basket ! This is exactly what Amazon wants it's customers to do. See it all, read it all, buy it all & review it all with them. I have not had any problems with Amazon, I don't order all that much from them, mostly Kindle books. But I will shop around more now. It's very easy to get everything from Amazon. Maybe not the wisest thing to do though.

I really have no idea what the problem is with the S5500 for you, but it definitely should be streaming Amazon Video, I've read too many instances where owners are successfully streaming Amazon with it to think otherwise at this point.

When? If you mean the Norwegian customer from 2012, their access was restored, and that incident prompted Amazon to state their policy clearly - closure of an account to new purchases will not stop access to purchased digital content.
