Perhaps V5 better than the V3, I have not seen it myself, but I wonder what exactly he is better than products Netronix, when compared with the Cybook Opus or Pocketbook 360°?

First of, the 6" (v3) is an older device. And slower due to that fact (slower processors). And I can't speak for the Opus or 360, as I don't have those, but my Mini never had problems (at least, once I flashed the original firmware to solve the battery problem...).

If I had to chose from the Opus or 360, I'd most likely pick the 360, due to the cover on it, though.

Sincerely, you are in love with your pb 360, and after reading this, I'm thinking seriously about following you. Pdfs are not important for the person I'm going to give it, but dictionary is.
Thank you

And it reads so many different file types which means conversion isn't necessary.
This is an interesting point, because it means that it's perfect for someone who doesn't know anything about conversion... or Calibre... or Sigil...

Thank you

Who is going to make the upkeep, that is, maintain the device? You, or the person who receives the reader?

LOL yes we know that feeling well! Hubby is an IT Manager and is always being asked to 'help out' with computer problems. He'd be a wealthy man if only he got paid for these extra services - he does get offered drinks in return but sadly he's teetotal

Terisa and Poshm, You understand me...

Really, I don't mind if I have to make a little conversion (not html, or sigil), because I have a to modify for me, but I expect troubles to the minimum.

About formats... calibre usually works nice. My reader uses Mobipocket mainly but I purchase the cheaper or available format (I'm going to process it anyway). After I get a file right for me, calibre converts them nice (in very few time) automatically (I use ebook-convert and bat files).

I thought a lot about those two readers, and finally, I decided to buy a pocketbook 360, instead the Opus.
Probably next month I'll have it in my hands, before gifting it. Thank you to all who helped.
