Thanks Zelda.

I've got a 37ish temperature at the moment, which for me is redonkulously high... My normal body temp tops out at around 35. (That runs in the family - slow metabolism and all that). So if I had the "normal average" of 37, I'd have a 39ish fever right now.

Sniffly and shattered Yeti with a bad cough. Not fun for Am - Yeti coughs and sneezes are LOUD...

I'm in the third day of it now, so hopefully it's peaked...

Have been trying to get my muse going and come up with something for writer's corner to cheer myself up.

it sounds like you've got exactly the same thing as my friend. he claims he's better now though so maybe it's a short illness. i hope so, for both of you.

i really can't think of a better way to cheer up someone who is ill. in fact i've heard that reading fiction written by someone dear to you actually has curative powers. i wonder if there's any way to test that theory ? hmm...

It's 1:30 in the morning - I should be thinking about sleeping, not writing!

However, having spent a lot of the week asleep, I don't feel so tired right now

sheesh, good point. me too, in fact. why am i still up ??? (don't answer that. last night (if you can still call it that) i went to bed at 6 am. for no good reason.)

parcel containing two well packed items of patisserie bounces off the side of an unsuspecting Yeti's head, fortunately it was deflected by the fur, so no harm done.

Yeti shakes head, unwraps patisserie and tucks in. Passes one over to Am.
