Hopefully @Pendragn can give it a spin. I hadn't encountered the problem because I don't do as many successive book line edits as I once did, and I can usually fill in the blanks via the Metadata Copy and Paste feature.

- excellent, in version 7.24 I only get the dialogues popping up when I explicitly call for them.

I hate to be that person, but the Tab key functionality has changed again. It no longer moves to the next field, as it did after the changes in 7.23.

Known problem, not sure who or where it was reported … might have been me. It's fixed in the latest previews. So, do as I'm doing - go back to V7.25 and wait for V7.27; or use the latest preview.
