Sounds like Windows.

You need to go to Display on Win10 and re-arrange the screens and set the Primary.

The Bios setting is ignored.

Maybe advanced Display setting. It's a mess compared to XP. I looked at Win10 on my VM. Much clearer on older Windows.

Use menu or right-click on desktop background.

Even if I disconnect the other monitor so that the system only sees one monitor in display settings, Calibre won't display. It shows in the task manager, but it's not displaying anywhere (I looked for it using the recommendations above).

Any thoughts? is this a known issue?

Thanks.
Try the following...

Plug in both monitors. Run Calibre. Make sure everything with Calibre is displaying on the main monitor. Turn off the secondary monitor and if Calibre is displaying correctly on the main monitor, close Calibre, reboot, make sure the main monitor's graphics card is set as the main graphics card. Then try Calibre.

In Windows Display Properties, before rebooting!

If I start Calibre with only the second monitor running (the monitor connected to my second PCIE card, but defined as my startup monitor in BIOS), Calibre runs in task mgr, but doesn't open a window.

If I run with the monitor connected to my first PCIE card running (with or without the second monitor), Calibre runs fine.

Once Calibre is running, I can move it to the "secondary" window and it runs fine, even if I stop displaying on the other monitor in Display Settings.

The only way I found this was a mention that Calibre will only start up with a window on the monitor connected to the primary graphics card. Something about QT WebEngine, or something I didn't really understand.

I've found the same thing happens with Revo Uninstaller.

I just thought I'd post here to see if anyone knew anything further or had an other expereinces with this.

It looks like moving the window and rebooting fixed it for Revo Uninstaller, but not for Calibre...
