Hello,

The first one is Cat trick, by Sofie Kelly. The other three are more in that series.

Thank you. I will try this when I get home this evening.

Hello,
Thanks. I tried dragging and dropping the file to my Kobo, but it didn't make any difference.

Attached is an image of what I can see when I went to look at the device interfaces, and scrolled to the Ks.

I borrowed this from the library as a Kindle eBook. I downloaded it to the computer and removed the DRM. In Calibre, I used KindleUnpack to convert to ePub. I then sent it to my Libra 2 as ePub. It displayed everything from the cover to the 2nd chapter. When I got to chapter 2, I stopped reading, deleted it from the computer and the Libra 2 and returned it to the library.

I did try a conversion using just Calibre but it came out as an ePub 2 when it needed to be an ePub 3. I got an ePub 3 when I used KindleUnpack. I did not make any changes to the ePub that I sent to my Kobo to test.

The Calibre Conversion needs the user to pick epub2 or epub3. Obviously your default is epub2.
But IMO an ebook isn't a proper ebook if it either is fixed layout and when converted isn't at least readable in mobi and decent in epub2.

Then it doesn't need to be Epub 3. Since Kobo Epub reader doesn't even support Epub3 TOC, you'll actually get better results if you leave the default epub 2.. (Calibre does not include a backwards compatible TOC when it generates Epub3.)

Try converting to ePub2 instead of ePub3 (if you haven't already)

I found Kobo app and Google Play Books app prefer 2, rather than 3.

Have you checked the epubs through the validator?

This one with Draft2Digital is free and might help... https://draft2digital.com/book/epubcheck/upload

It's a lot easier to use either calibre's editor or Sigil. Use the epubcheck plugin for whichever you use. Then if you do have errors, you can then correct them.
