for the explanation. makes perfect sense and a valid reason.
While I do tend to use the info pane as view only, others interact a lot more than I do.

Following on from my previous response, one of the things i would like to have on the Detached BD is the option to show all columns, including those with no value - the absence of a value in a column can be just as significant as any other value. A check box on the panel itself would seem to be appropriate.
