I love these threads, everyone always has a different font and I usually find a few awesome new fonts to try out like Lexia DaMa.

My personal favorite font is Rojarivo.

Every now and then I try som new font, thinking "yes, this is the best font yet". But after a while, I tend to always go back to good ol' pre-installed Georgia. It seems I do like that best after all. (I add a bit of weight to it though.)

I like Georgia as it displays on my Nooks (ePub). But on my Kobo, using kepubs, I don't like how it winds up rendering.

I believe there are patches/it is being worked on. But Literata Book is a nice enough font on kepubs that I just use it instead.

Edit: I just pulled put the same book on my Nook and Kobo to puost a picture showing the difference, but Georgia looked pretty good on my kepub.

I'm running 4.28.18220

Bitter is great, it is manually spaced so it fits more characters per line than any other font i tried, it even looks great when text is justified because it almost eliminates uneven word spacing.
Only minus is, it can look a little bit squarish.

I also use Literata, Minion Pro is also good, but x height is too small for readers under 7" (for my eyes), so i use it mostly on Inkpad 3.

I used Bookerly in the past but it is too wide for me, i wish condensed version exist (at least a little condensed).

The best font (IMHO) is ChareInk.It's free and available right here on Mobileread. It's so popular, it has thousands of downloads. It's even the best font on a Kindle.

ChareInk is great, but I mostly use Capita by Hoftype. Unfortunately the font is quite expensive, especially if you buy all 4 styles.

Capita looks very nice online but wish it were possible to try a sample on an actual ereader. Any chance you have a photo you could post?

I'm another ChareInk fan, that it (unlike Capita) doesn't cost just over half what I paid for my Sage certainly doesn't hurt its appeal

I tend to bounce around but in general, if the publisher has put in any kind of effort at all into typography, then I'll use Publisher's Default. Else, I'll use ChareInk, Source Serif , or the built-in Malabar. I've also been trying Sitka from Windows 10 because of this research.

I'm using Charis SIL ModifiedLarger which has the best readability and weighting of anything I've seen so far. This font is pretty old though and I think that the ChareInk is based on an updated base font of the Charis SIL. Does a ChareInk ModifiedLarger font exist?

Sorry, but there is no ChareInk Modified Larger. Yes, ChareInk is based on a newer version of Charis SIL.

Any plans to make a new version of ChareInk based off of Charis SIL version 6.001 that came out in July?
