I don't know what character(s) is/are in the code. But I took the HTML code, beautified it and , and copied it to Notepad++ and then back into the Calibre 5.9.0 editor. They now work.

P.S. I had to beautify to get the code to not be one line because it would not paste as is in Notepad++.
