Looks like I was successful with the jailbreak. Managed to downgrade the firmware/install the jailbreak and hotfix now manually updating the firmware to the newest version

Every one of the places (here) that you downloaded anything from contain directions, and usually those directions are repeated inside of the archive.
1) Decide first what you want to do differently than what Amazon provided. 2) ONLY THEN decide what to download (after reading the directions). Hint: NiLuJe's snapshot thread (where you should be getting packages from) contains the most recent builds of the things most popular among users. |
