Do you mean BabelMap or is Babelchar yet another tool?

What do you mean by "flattening?"

This site makes it easy to search all the unicode points:

http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/search.htm

For example, you could search for "circumflex" and then scroll through the table until you find what you need:

http://www.fileformat.info/info/unic...preview=entity

Or I prefer the Wikipedia articles. These are organized well and make it super easy to copy/paste a single character:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macron
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grave_accent
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acute_accent
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diaeresis_%28diacritic%29
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circumflex
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caron
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_letters
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_...ics#Lower_case

Side Note: I have had many of the above tabs opened up on my Firefox for the past 4+ years.

I see not much has changed. Way back in 2014, you said the same thing in GrannyGrump's "German Blackletter" thread:

https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=232842

You + GrannyGrump also caused me to add Babelmap to my repertoire (although I still prefer the organization of the Wikipedia articles + making the font size HUGE).

Does this method output the unicode single character glyph or the double character "letter + combining accent"?

Rumour is that there's a new version of BabelMap in the wind, maybe it will have Very Large and Huge options - and a 'Favourites' thingy

There's also this == >>https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prime_(symbol)

To add this feature to Windows keyboard layouts without native dead letter support, you'll need to install the US International keyboard layout, which adds the following features:

caret (^) followed by a vowel = â, ê etc.
grave accent (`) followed by a vowel = à, è etc.
apostrophe (') followed by a vowel = á, é, ç etc.
quotation mark (") followed by a vowel = ä, ë etc.
tilde (~) followed by a vowel = ã, ñ etc.

The only downside is that you won't immediately see any of these modifier keys, if you don't want to enter an accented character.
But this can be easily remedied by installing the international keyboard layout alongside the regular layout and switching between them with ALT+SHIFT.

I use AutoHotKey scripting to map some of my function keys to output my most frequently-used glyphs, like curly quotes, emdash, and nbsp. Also some other hot key combinations to apply frequently-used css tags to selected text, such as <p>, <div>, case-changes, and others.

Long live AutoHotKey!!!
