The TStand is now available as a 'Fulfilled by Amazon' product. For what it's worth for reliability.

As the video in the initial post shows, it's called the T-stand because its base is the shape of a letter "T".

I now have its newer iteration. It does charge via USB, but I also have plenty of the cheap tablet holders once given out by every merchant with their logo on it. Just found all of them, too.

Is this product still in production? Is it lightweight? Is it adjustable to screen size?

To sum it up: if I like the TStand design, quality issues notwithstanding, is there a better executed alternative?

OK, I got it. He meant that some women couldn't use it the way pictured, because of boobs.
