Oh I see. Well this is an HP laptop from 2008 so I'm not even sure Android existed at that point (did it?) and the tablet I was connecting with is a Samsung so I don't know about either of those pirating USB IDs. At any rate, at least we know where the error is.
I wonder if there's a way, in some future version of Calibre, to overcome this problem as it's conceivable other people are experiencing it. BTW, I think the problem also drastically slowed down transfer time because book transfers are way zippier now that I've uninstalled the Android driver. |
