Amazon Frie 10 Case is JUNK! - Page 2

I had one Silicon shell that worked great with 2-K3s But with the 3rd one it keep causes the K3 to re-boot! The K3 is 2 yrs old works Great Except in the Silicon case ...weird! I had another I use on both Fire HD 7" & another that made its rounds on 3 different Sony readers. No problems.

I thought about Super Gluing the case on the Fire

But did you know you Have to take the darn thing out of the case to get into the SDCard? Well you do

so super glue wont work

Katie,
Do you have a Big Lots near you?
If yes, just go there and find you a cheap case.
Take the fire with you.

Best Buy, Big Lots, Walmart, Target, 5 Below, Radio Shack Them and Many Many More! Not one had Any cases for 10" Tablet

Hardly any other Amazon cases either. No where online either!

First I would try to get a replacement from the seller. Otherwise try using double sided tape, not the foam stuff. That should keep the Kindle in place.

Walmart tonite has 10" universal case for $12.88 so I got a Blue one. Got home & IT DID NOT FIT!!! UGH!

The link to the case is no longer active. I'm guessing it's been removed from sale.

I've searched and haven't found a similar case for the Fire HD 8. Nothing I like, nothing that will stand like the "standing case" for the Fire HD 6 and 7.

I ordered a shell from China.

Apparently, Katie's experience with that cover is not unique. From the product page of the 8" & 10" devices, you can still see the cases. But they are not available on Amazon, not even ebay has any (as of now). I did find a link on walmart.com to the 8" cover. The designer must have really messed these covers up. Such a shame, as it is the only standing case design I like.

I been thinking about getting one of those Kids Cases... anyone have one? How do you like it? This fire is Sooo Slippery & Thin I have a hard time holding it with my Arthritis why I think a Kids Case would be ideal.

I got my Full Refund inc my Shipping fees! I ordered the Kids case With handle got that a few days ago. Works Great! Hold the Fire Tight so no worries about falling out. Just wanted to update you guys.
