I'd suggest asking in the Onyx forum. Someone there will certainly know.

Hi,

The difference is a special production of the M96Plus for the Ereader-store.de : http://ereader-store.de/en/onyx-boox...-m96-plus.html

Quote:
* NEW! IN OUR PLUS VERSION ONLY - BUILT-IN 8GB STORAGE AND 1GB RAM
Built-in 8GB storage (6GB is available) and expandable SDHC card up to 32GB allows you to store thousands of books in your device. Portable books could be ready at any time you like.

[...]

* In in our Store only - M96Plus from this batch are equipped with faster 85HZ screens (regular cheaper models have slower 50HZ screens)
But the M92Plus is marked 'Sold out' then the 'N96 ML Front Light' and the 'ONYX BOOX N96 Dual Touch' as marked 'Currently sold out. Next batch expected soon '. I don't know if in Ereader-store.de the M96Plus will be available, you musk ask it.

You seem to know a lot these devices. My M92 broke its screen without aid Are these new devices worth their prices? Or are they so bad built like M92?

I know the M92 has a reputation for broken screens. I have not heard the same about the M96 - I think I read somewhere that the frame was strenghtened against torsion (the main enemy of e-ink screens). I have been using my M96 daily for about 6 months without problems - sometimes squeezed into a bag (but always in a cover). I think we can conclude that the M96 is stronger than the M92 was.

I don't know about the N96, but I would expect it to be at least as strong as its predecessor.

I have a M92 for 3 or 4 years and I use it every day without problem, in the transports too. Jmirko has right, don't twist the screen ! because it's a glass you must not forget it. That's all. Only the Boox Max could support a torsion.
