At the same time? Poor Laptop. Both can be CPU intensive (at times).

You can flip between Libraries (on the same machine). AFAIK the only limits are 1)Disk space 2) the quick switch menu is limited to the LAST 10 libraries

Why not use a Virtual Library?

IIRC FanFicFare already adds a "fanfiction" tag to any books it downloads, so you could use that to partition your library.
