The Touch is noticeably bigger the the current Glo. And I think the Glo HD is a little smaller than the Glo. This makes it sound like the "pika" is using the same case and PCB as the Glo HD but with a non-lit 800x600 screen. Calling it the "Touch 2" would make sense.

A mini glo will be great, although my kobo aura is similar my old mini but with a bigger screen. But I miss the mini.

The good thing is by the time the Glo HD will be available in France we'll know for sure if another device will be released, and if so what it will be.
Seen that way, the wait is quite a nice thing

I thought from the name Pika it would be a new Mini, but all the signs are that davidfor is right and it is a new Touch 2.0 with faster processor and no external microSD card slot.

As much as I like to occasionally be right, I wish I wasn't in this case. If they do come out with a 5" device in the future, I hope it is a high-end, rather than budget. Maybe a Mini H2O with light and SD card.

Okay, this is just wishful thinking but in Japanese pika(pika) means glitter, sparkle. It can be used to describe something shiny.

So going on with my wishful thinking mind, I keep a little hope that the second device might be a Mini Glo and I'm fully ready to be disappointed if a new Touch is announced.

In the U.S. (at least in Montana) a pika is a small, borrowing mammal -- kind of like a little rabbit with short ears and short legs. They live high in the mountains.

Has anyone seen some news? So far, nothing here.
Meanwhile I've seen a Glo HD and it's very tempting, but (1) I need more money, (2) I'd like to know for sure that the other device is actually a Touch 2.0 before deciding on anything.
