The good effect of all this, thanks to Harry, is that a search on the words Forefront Cases on Google brings up the word "Dubious," along with a link to this thread.
The word is going out: STAY AWAY FROM THEM. |

My Sunny Savers £1.99 case also hasn't arrived. Tbh I wasn't worried about that one but I emailed the seller anyway. Unlike forefront they claimed the case had shipped but must have been lost or delayed in the post. They offered a replacement or a refund. They were actually very polite and apologetic. Obviously I have no idea if they were lying but they certainly treated me better than forefront.

Yep exactly the same here. Got the same canned response when I asked about the whereabouts of my order. They were very quick with the refund once I supplied the screenshot of my order details, showing they'd supposedly dispatched it Oct 1st !!!!
Shall never buy from them again. |

My experience with Forefront cases is a positive one. They sent the case promptly and I think the value is good. It fits the Kindle Voyage well without adding bulk.

My experience was awful. After enduring the pre ordering hassle and finally raising an A-Z claim to get my refund I succumbed (lured by the 5 star reviews) and ordered a case recently. It was faulty, it drained my Voyage battery overnight and what's worse it jammed my screen so the screen didn't show the battery was dead. I nearly had heart failure trying to get my Voyage to work until I got it out of the case, plugged it in and realised it was dead. Then it took half an hour before I saw any life in my Voyage.
I contacted them, it look 3 emails to get a response, I had to pay return postage which they promised to refund. They didn't, so I had to chase them for the return postage (it became a principal issue rather than the cost in the end) I wouldn't touch them again if they were the last company producing covers. Ohh and they offer free products for particularly good reviews, so I now doubt the five star reviews are genuine. Last edited by Josieb1; 12-05-2014 at 05:56 AM. |
