Well, Google is more to blame here, for not having support for this out of the box.

Given the way the Nexus 5 is basically just a rebadged LG G2, you have to wonder why they didn't just do the same thing with the Gpad 8.3 rather than just releasing the google play edition that is only sold in north america.

I imagine it takes considerable less time to put out a Google Play Edition than it does to tweak the case and hardware.

I'm hoping there is a Nexus 8, because I would love something that size to similar to the Nexus 7.
