And around here at MobileRead, DrDrib has produced a number of books in Sony format that are not (yet) available in Mobipocket. I've set myself a personal goal of learning how to use the tools so I can make up the difference. Right now I'm fighting with BookDesigner. Fortunately, I've never met a piece of software that had defeated me. (Probably means that I'm educable!)

Stuff like this makes you feel like an 8 year old on Christmas day, doesn't it?

I think I just found out that you can convert mobi to lrf using libprs500 also. I wasn't aware of that initially.

Edit: Opps, you need LRF to mobi... Try this guy... it is free: http://www.processtext.com/abcsonylrf.html

Congratulations. One advantage that I saw with the Sony reader is that you can rotate the "page" which lends itself to very large font sizes. I still love my Kindle, but I could be content with a Sony reader.
