I don't have a Kobo, but I do use my modified version of Charis SIL. It looks very nice and does not have a large line space and the lower case letters are so small compared to the capitols. Garamond is a good example of too small lower case letters compared to the caps.

Gothic for me on the Glo. I used to use fellbridge on my touch until it vanished in an update cycle.

Until this morning I was using Rockwell and was very happy with it. However, after reading the post below I downloaded Amaranth and it is quite superior. Lots of "ink" on the page. Not too big a difference between bold and regular. Thanks for recommending it.

Hard to say I have a favorite font as I am switching on a regular basis. Avenir and Gothic are probably the ones I like the most.
I tried the Amaranth one mentioned above and I am not convinced. There is indeed quite a lot of "ink" in that font, it's just like all the text has been put in bold. It's what I would call and "in-your-face" font :-) |

I was using Delima, but it's been removed in 2.1.4. Now that it's gone, I'm searching for something new. Not a big fan of the stock fonts, so I'll give Amaranth a try, it looks promising.

Thank you very much. One thing I find really good with Charis SIL vs a lot of other fonts is that the size of the lowercase to the capitols is very good. It's not too out of proportion and that's good for eink. The weight of the original was not bad, but I just tweaked it a little to make it even better.

That's why it's great that the Glo has such a large selection of built-in fonts and the ability to add others. Not everyone likes the same thing.
