Simple touch page tuning in sunlight - Page 2

Our local library loans out Nook STR's, so I checked one of those out a few months ago to try it out. I read in the sun quite a bit--didn't notice any problems with page turns. But after being in the sun for a little while, I did notice quite a bit of ghosting/faded text between page refreshs. I read in the sun quite a bit, so that made me realize I'd better stick with my Sony 650 that refreshes with every page turn.

Mine works fine in direct sun in 85 degree weather, but the dictionary still sucks--was reading a new book the other day and it couldn't find any of the words I looked up!

Agree! Well, can't say I notice much ghosting, but page turns are definitely slower when the device gets warmer.
