You're absolutely right, I checked and it's only for books. I misunderstood books purchased "online" as being ebooks. No discount on ebooks...

Kobo preview usually works for me. Strangely I sometimes get more pages on the Vox than the PlayBook.

Kobo preview length is on a book by book basis. It can be quite long or ridiculously short. On the whole it works OK for me.

Pre-orders would be nice, though.

I know B&N does pre-orders, at least they did for the last Kathy Reichs book. I haven't checked out my Nook books on my Vox yet though, most of my books are still sideloaded from my EZ Reader days.
