What happens on the net is people take a text file and just dump it in a wrapper. It's no better then the text file plain. And what you have is no better then the text file alone. In fact, with PDB as the wrapper, you'd be better off with the plain text file.

I think if you replace the manual line breaks with paragraph breaks in word it should be ok after that.
replace ^l with ^p if I remember correctly (both lower case)

That would just force each line to be treated as a paragraph!

What one normally wants is to replace a double line breaks with the paragraph break to get the genuine paragraph breaks and then remove the remaining single line breaks completely to allow text reflow within paragraphs.
