Yes.

I have the Asus 121- an amazing machine, but too big to travel and the PE because it has Wacom and it is portable. There is nothing else with Wacom that is so small or I would have it. I would much prefer it had more compatable OS ie Win 7 or 8. I will be reliant on the work of LutzS NOT the Edge staff to have put together a package so I can theoretically go to MS OneNote from Android OS. Haven't had time to work it yet but I have faith!

I wouldn't mind being able to synch with Outlook and my Windows listmaking program. Linux would be nice, too. Don't know much about WebOS but maybe that would be fine. Android is okay with me so far, althought I miss having more than one program/window running at a time.

But whatever operating system goes on the tablet side, I want the e-ink side to retain all of its current functionality, maybe even gain more.

I don't know which answer to choose for your poll. Guess I'd have to go with 4: Have no idea.

Interesting discusion, though!

I agree with LutzS. Let's wait for Win8. But after that I definitelly go for a Windows eDGe. I like the current eDGe big time. But there are some small functionalities I'm missing from Windows. Of course the problem can be that I might not have the right apps on my eDGe. :-)

So my answer to the original poll is "1".

No Microsoft OS is able to manage external devices on a mobile device, like the EE does now.

Definitely I would not buy a Windows EE.

1st thing I would do owning such a device is trying to get rid of Windows.
