Sorry to state the obvious, but you can open one book on the eInk side and another on the tablet side. Changing pages on the tablet side is not as easy as the eInk side, but it works.

Yeah, the changes that would make it perfect are, it seems to me, fairly minor. Did they ever resolve the issue with notes on texts disappearing or moving when the zoom level was changed? Also did they ever fix it so you can attach notes in the journal to texts? Those would be other very helpful features for me.
