When you click on the eGift card tab the form you fill out includes a place for email and you just put your own email there.

1. Click on eGift card tab.
2. Click on the style of card you want.

Ha. Last time it took several hours, this time it's in some sort of limbo STILL; I ordered yesterday (Saturday) morning, and I can't get through to a person till tomorrow (Monday) morning--I have a notation on my account that the order can't be processed. Why, I don't have the slightest idea.

Last time it also took me three or four phone calls and more than a week to get the promotional $10 card--they kept resending the original $100 gift card. I just hope I won't have to go through that hassle again, especially because by the time I get to talk to a live person, the promo offer will be over.

Oh no! Well that message about not being able to process the order was the same one I got the last time I ordered on the weekend. Then without my doing anything it was processed on Monday afternoon, so I tend to think it is just one of those catchall messages that doesn't really mean much.

I'm sorry you are having so many problems with them. I guess I have just been lucky.

I called and was told they needed the security code on my credit card; this was a crock, because the card has been on file with them and the order process never asked for it to be reentered. Before I gave it to them, I asked them to verify that the order would be considered as eligible for the now-expired promo offer, and got switched back to customer service. While I was on the line with CS, the order magically went through, without me giving the security code that supposedly was needed.

I suspect that it IS a weekend thing--though how dumb is that?--and if I'd just waited longer, the order would have gone through today without my doing anything. But how annoying!

Oh how aggravating, CatLady! I rarely have any luck with CS anywhere as far as being knowledgeable at all. So apparently the weekend thing hasn't changed. I'm glad you got it straightened out anyway.

I haven't gotten mine and I did not get the email confirming I would get it as I did with the last one. I sent an email to CS. If I don't get it today or hear anything I will be calling them tomorrow.

Well, mine didn't arrive, and I waited well into the day today (Wednesday) just to make sure.

Just called B&N CS and the agent had no clue what I was talking about, so I read her the offer. She went off to do her thing, and after a loooooooong wait, she came back and said they will "re-email" it within 48 to 72 hours.

Not exactly timely service, but I still have lots left on my original $100 card, so I'm not beating the door down for it.

Just put a tickler in my calendar for 3 days from now, however, just to remind me.

I wonder how many folks would forget it was coming, or forget it was supposed to come after 72 more hours, etc. etc.
