if you go to the B&N nook part of this forum, you will find a thread "international options" it's a sticky... you will find an explanation on how to buy books from B&N.

I buy all my books from B&N and never hand a problem (after I used the method covered in that thread)

You have to do similar for many books you might wish to buy, not all of kobo or Amazon range is available for the Australian market. So I use the method. for B&N and buy any book I wish.

You can use that same method to buy books from any of the US stores. It makes a lot more books available to you no matter what reader you buy.
