I actually reported it to eBay right away when I saw it. but I have reported sellers before for listing violations (like for example selling $120 items for 1 cent and ask for $149.99 for shipping) and nothing has happened. Sellers still doing the same thing. So I don't have much confidence in the "report" procedure
I looked at the purchase history of this one when there were around 60 "sold" and although there were many users with feedback scores below 10 there were a few with at least a few hundred also buying. Makes me wonder what they were thinking...
Glad eBay took this particular one off though!

LOL, the whole 1 cent shipping for $149 is a brilliant way to get views! LOL....a terrible way to do business, but I don't see it violating any terms of service, it's up to the person bidding to read the auction.

It is a violation of listing rules.

To put the price of the product on the (unreasonable) shipping is to circumvent eBay fees. (No fee on shipping cost.) There is also rule against excessive shipping cost in itself, whether to circumvent fees or not.

So double violation, I'd say.l

I don't care personally, I always read carefully and add shipping cost to the price when deciding what I want to pay, but you'd think eBay would care.
