It would be pretty expensive to buy the m-edge skin and just use the part covering the keypad. Do those Invisibledefender ones come with NO patterns? I tried their site but did not see blank skins. |

My kindle is brand new. Other than the letters, the unit seems to work fine. That is why I am afraid that if I exchange it now, I might get a refurbished one or worse, get a buggy one with the letters still coming out. However, if I wait it out until all the letters are gone, will Amazon still exchange it at that time?

Amazon should exchange it at any time during the 12 month warranty period if it's faulty.

My letters haven't been used much but I hope mine doesn't go the same way somewhere down the line |

Question. Since many of people who are seeing the letters wear off seem to indicate that they play some of the Kindle games very frequently and think that might be a contributing factor, can these games be played on the PC using the K4PC? Have those who play these games considered that as an option, understanding that even a notebook computer or tablet is no substitute for the ease and convenience of the Kindle? How many who sit at home playing these games on their Kindle have considered doing so on their PC, assuming these games can be played there?

I don't play any games & only use my letter keys when purchasing books. After 3 months some of my letter keys &, menu, home & one arrow key has worn off. I think I'm going to look for the nokey skin.
