That's what Ziplock bags are for! I've brought all my eink readers to the beach and the pool and use a Ziplock bag for protection. When I go in the water I leave my reader in it's bag hidden, either in the cooler or my beach bag.

Well I don't take it to the beach as I'm land locked. But in the summer months I take it camping.

Yes, I was a little concerned about that aswell but I thinks I'll risk it, since I want to be able to use my ereader wherever I go...
