Alright, another newbie question or three.
What about the Libre eBook Reader Pro? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2WoVRsap9Q or the The Cruz Reader http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Znry0q_yo3M They are $100 and $120 from Borders. That tablet PC will allow reverse contrast reading as well. I like that idea a lot. The $120 unit also has a 7 inch screen on it.

I suggest the jetBook Lite instead of the Libre eBook Reader Pro (which is the same hardware as the original jetBook, but with different firmware).
Cheap Android tablets as ebook readers have not worked out well. The Nook Color is an exception, but it isn't cheap ($250). It is excellent value for money though. The best of the cheaper devices is probably the PocketBook IQ, which is reviewed on The eBook Reader. Note that PocketBook prices will go up in the US next week. |

I guess what really matters is reading books and also having a simple device. I mean you have an iPod for music and a computer or TV for video, so why have all that in an ereader.
I am in to simple and basic, it is just the lure of features that makes me keep searching. LOL I like the fact that magnification is right on a button with the Jetbook, where as you have to go through a menu or a few button presses with the Kindle 3 my wife has. By the way Newegg has the JetBook on sale here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-010-_-ProductOK another update, I have a Jetbook Lite on the way from Newegg. This is my first ebook reader, so I hope I bought a good one. People here seem to like it a lot and it was within what I could afford. Thanks for the help.
