I was reading on my back porch until the bumbly bees chased me insid. Now i'm reading in my front sunroom while the bumbly bees chase each other around the petunias outside the screen. There are flowers everywhere out there.

Beautiful weather today. We went on a long trainride to Maastricht, where we had lunch in the sun, white wine and walked a few hours along the ancient walls (1290)of the city, and visited some churchs (St.Servaas 1190).
The trainride was free if one had the free book from the ' week-of-the-book' action. This year's was from Kader Abdolah (Iran) with 'Kraai' (Crow).

Has any one else seen the Reachemol ads that have been popping up on billboards all around the country? I'd never even heard of DPD (Deficient Popularity Disorder), but it's nice to know there's a drug for it!

Yes - the cat she is sniffing noses with is a 7-year-old cat that weighs in around 9 pounds! I'm hoping she just kept her baby teeth in longer than usual and really is a bit older - or else she might approach Arwen's size!

Yeah, but it's one of the funniest ad campaigns I've seen in years. They suckered me into checking it out. The website's a riot.

I found out about it from a billboard (not pictured) in Portsmouth, VA.

She may have a touch of Rag Doll in her - when you flop her on her back she does go limp.

Goldie is not sure what to think - she alternates between nose sniffs & hisses. It's been an exciting weekend.
