Oh yes. I don't think he'd go for fresh, but dried he loves. Blueberries, too. I got a bag of mixed dried berries a while back and he went nutty. He'll also beg for green pepper, lettuce, and spinach. He's not totally weird, he loves foods normal cats eat too, he'd make off with the s.other's weekly rotisserie chicken if we let him.

watch it with the blueberries! the tanins in the skin might be a problem.

Strider has taken to stealing my grape tomatoes from my plate, but I think he is giving them to the dog.

This particular dee-vice appears to be a hacker's dream though. I think I made the right decision with it; I can make it my own rather than let a company dictate what it "should" be.

I had a cat that was a pistachio nut addict. NOT good for a cat's digestive system...

RIGHT NOW I'm trying, with preciously little success, to muster up energy enough for the evening dog walk. If I get that over and done with I'll bring the reader to bed for an early night (8.15 pm over here now). Note to self: Do NOT start reading anything too exciting! Need sleep!

Don't worry, he doesn't get enough of any of these little treats to cause problems. (And we've double-checked with the vet just in case.) He also loves olives, but he doesn't get even a little bit anymore. Ick. Lucky for us he doesn't try to steal grapes or raisins because those are a definite no-no since they're toxic.

Now why would Strider be trying to bribe the dog with tomatoes?

I don't know that it is a bribe, I think it is just a cooperative effort sort of deal. tomatoes are like candy for the pup. those and carrots are the most effective training treats I have with her
