I liked the Hunger Games, but it was original itself, unfortunately its popularity seems to have spawned several knock offs. It's unfortunate that the second half of Red Rising is one such knock off.

Currently, I am reading The Unwomanly Face of War: An Oral History of Women in World War II by Svetlana Alexievich. A translation, of course, she is Russian and all the women she interviewed were in the Soviet Union for the war. This book won the Nobel Prize for Literature.

Just finished Confessions of a Middle-aged White Man by John Dodsworth. I am having a frenzy of reading humor/satire books this month. It was fourth in the line.

Now half way through The Ship Who Sang by Anne McCaffrey. After that, I may pick up Bloody Mary.

So it turns out I read Bloody Mary already, so I am now reading the second Jack Reacher book, Die Trying.

Last night I finished Etiquette & Espionage, the first book in Gail Carriger's "Finishing School" series. Quite fun and breezy, much like her "Parasol Protectorate" series. I have the second one on my iPhone, so I think I'll read it next, and get to the other two in that series later.

Done with Die trying, now reading 2 Fuzzy, 2Furious, the second Unbeatable Squirrel Girl book by Shannon Hale.

I am reading Beckett!'s Waiting for Godot in english. I have read some reviews from people who searched some deep philosophy and they were disappointed when they haven't found it. Personally I think this play is too short for that..Yes, I like it..it shows nonsense dialogues in daily life..that talking about themes we have spoken about many times..

I am reading the first volume of Rebecca West's Saga of the Century - The Fountain Overflows. Time magazine once called this woman the greatest living female writer, and I can see why.

I've been reading a book by Michael J. Fox, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Future. Autobiographical. I'm finding it very interesting.
