That thing is stupid. I try to use it and it starts the camera. Wifi has to be on, too.

I love FireFly. Oops I am out Nexium FireFly scans the bottle and with one click my Nexium is on it's way. Somehow it knows which package count too I need.

I think the phone will get smarter as I ask Fiona stuff she says I can't do that yet. So I think Amazon has originally plan to make her more like Siri. Maybe they will integrate some of the Echo technology into the phone.

Even though the two repts I talk to assure me I want not charge for the cancelled order. My Card issuer assured me that Amazon has charge me and already picked up the payment. However someone at Amazon realized they did charge me and issue the refund back to my card! So Merry Christmas to me. I am so relieved!

I will never cancel another order on that card if I can help it. I will go back to using gift cards on orders I am not sure about.

Reviews don't look very promising. Lots of "doesn't work". It's free so I may give it a try.

Out of 400 pages of FREE apps many only Free today! I ended up with 112... only a few that wont work with my Fire tablet. In the list are only 10 games LOL Now I have to go thru them and Wean out the ones that I don't really like The one that wont work until I get the Phone ...if it ever drops so I can afford it sigh

BTW during the process I had to stop & UPDATE my Tablet!! So check see what Updates you got last nite!! Fire HD 7" 2012 is now 7.5.1

I too had this problem, I had sideloaded the Google play store. When I uninstalled it and the apk for google it started working again. Not sure if that was the problem but it has worked since.

I have figured out if you are going to use this as a phone that when you turn on 4G then later enable WI-Fi once done, it does not turn off 4G. So that's what caused my battery to die.

I'm liking the LG Volt better than the Fire Phone. The Volt's a much better tablet.

It could, but given a choice between a better display and a better OS, I'll go with the OS. In this case, that means the Volt; and it's not because the Volt is running KitKat. It's because the Fire Phone is running Fire OS 3.6 instead of Fire OS 4.5.
