Paul: Go to the doctor. Pneumonia is not fun. No it is not. The first time sucked, the second time as worse. Go to the doctor. Do not ignore or try and medicate a way bad coughs.

I always find it interesting to read about common medications from other countries. what are strepcils? as the ood prof has said, don't mess around with a bad cough. I've been hospitalized twice with pneumonia, not fun.

Finally getting over a period of a couple of weeks with extreme allergies here. It's been a bad summer for allergies on the Coast, and it hit me hard this year. But take care of yourself, Paul. Allergies are annoying, but pneumonia is dangerous.

Fresh squeezed orange juice, and now a big mug of Peet's Anniversary Breakfast blend, very nearly the last of this year's. (Thanks, ProfCrash!)

Murchie's Lapsang Souchong Extra Choice, which just came in. A good Souchong, but a bit expensive compared to the Peet's version, which I like as much or more.

It's OK. It's not pneumonia. It's really not. Just an irritating cough that will disappear by the end of the weekend.

Good morning, everyone! Friday's here. Oddly enough, it feels like Tuesday, but I'm not sure if it's next Tuesday or last Tuesday. I was watching field workers threshing rice yesterday and I guess these folks will work right through the weekend. Farming's rough.

I've got a big mug of unbranded Keemun tea to drink this morning. I'm sure glad I bought of lot of this when I had the chance. It's good!

Are you sure? I never knew I had pneumonia the first two times and after that I still wasn't sure, but had learned my lesson about going in to the doctor to be checked. I do hope you go get checked by your doctor and hope you are feeling better soon.

One very long, long day and finally getting home to enjoy my coffee and M&M's.

I didn't think it was pnemonia until I went to the Doctor and it was. That kicked in massive asthma issues. I went from no inhaler to inhaler, Advair, and a nebulizer used three times a day at the house. And a second case of pneumonia....

I am glad that you are feeling better and that the cough is passing but, fair warning to all in the thread, 5 days of coughing = get your ass to the doctor advice from me.

I am so getting the pneumonia vaccine this year.

An Oolong that is yummy and whose name is too long fo rme to remember.
