I don't like Tom Cruise all that much, well, what I know of him, but he does a great job as a physical actor. He has the right swagger and I think that is more important then height. Keifer Sutherland is the same way. The body language sells it.

Slight aside, I remember reading that Tom Cruise was dyslexic and had ADHD. His erratic behavior screamed to me that he was off of meds for ADHD and had not gone through any behavior modification therapy when he was on meds and he could not control his actions. The jumping on couches and stuff screamed "My filter is gone and I have no idea how the hell to control myself." Been there done that still have my days where I can tell that my energy is skying and my filter is gone but I tend to have fewer of those days because I know how to care for myself. So his anti-drug rant pissed me off.

I would put good money on the fact that he was on ritalin for a long time and that helped him stay focused enough to make the movies he did and the money he did. He joins scientology, goes off his meds, loses control, and then attacks psychiatry and medicine? Pissed me off.

Sorry....
