Going back to the Pocket article things. It's seems that I've lost the ability to search within the article. It was still possible back in 3.2

Looks like the firmware update has just pushed here (Australia, Aura, no tweaks). Pushing "Update Now" as I type. Fingers crossed.

And here it is, after 30 seconds or so of dancing squares. No obvious problems so far. Some of my sideloaded fonts look a little different from before in the dropdown menu, but the same in the body text once selected.

I installed 3.3 directly and everything went fine.

However, I am having a problem with the text: no matter what font I use or what size margins I specify, I seem to be losing the last 1-2 columns of pixels of text on the right end of each line. The text is still readable generally but annoying. Has anybody else seen anything like this?

I did add the FullScreenReading config entry but turning footer/header on or off makes no difference.

It rolled out in Peru yesterday.

No problems at all.

This has been discussed earlier in the thread. What you describe is happening from kepubs, either purchased or sideloaded. I haven't seen any problems with epubs. Remember, this is not something function that Kobo has officially released. I found then setting when ferreting through the executables. You should assume it isn't complete and will have bugs.

Has anyone else had their Kobo Device revert to no option for show page headers? I did. And am curious if others had this spontaneous reversal?

I have some questions:

1) Does this firmware apply to the Kobo Aura?
If so, which one is it in the list given here: http://www.mobileread.mobi/forums/sh...d.php?t=185660

2) What are the changes?

3) Is it worth applying this update? How?

Thanks

PeterT has answered this, which was probably good as I am feeling a little sarcastic.

They are all listed in this thread. Most will be in the first page or two.

Personally, yes. But, there have been a few people posting that they wouldn't bother.

Thanks for your answers.
I just didn't know that the 'New Aura' was the 'Kobo Aura'.

Thanks. It's a long thread and I missed it. This is indeed a sideloaded kepub. I'll change it to epub but I'll read the thread again.

By the way, I decided to remove the full screen option and keep kepubs instead. However, deleting the line I had added to the configuration file, under FeatureSettings, was not sufficient to get me back to the original configuration. It seems the Kobo adds the same line to the Reading section and that has to be deleted as well.

(I don't think I've seen this mentioned in this thread but given my previous posting here, who knows... )

I think the line added to FeatureSettings just serves to expose the menu item for Remove Headings, and then, Remove Headings when activated via the menu will add it's own entry to the conf. file.
