At least you have a fitness band. I avoid them like the plague. They would surely predict my imminent death if I put them on.

For my defense I can say I haven't always been this lazy, but of the past 4 years the less said, the better.

You have on-line stores "in your mind" and you haven't made sure they stock everything you want?

It seems to be a mix here. JB HiFi, which have Kobo ereaders in store, list all the Kobo products on-line. A book seller, Booktopia, does as well. But, it wouldn't surprise me if for ebooks and devices, they are using Kobo for fulfilment. Another store just lists the devices and some covers.


And much better news, I was just interrupted by a thumping at the door! 12 minutes early. Excuse me while I ignore everyone for the rest of the day.

I just completed an online survey which secured me enough store credit with the reseller I bought my Sage from to get a 30% discount on the sleepcover, so will go official rather than 3rd party now. I am VERY pleased that I resisted the almost overwhelming urge to answer one of the survey's "are you paying attention?" check questions with "true"🤣

My sleepcover arrived today, so just 4 days after my Sage arrived. It's a lovely cover and the light green is subtle but distinctive. Am slightly surprised there is no hole in the back cover to access the power button, like there was with the Kindle Voyage. Need to close the reopen the cover each time which is slightly annoying, though no biggie.

Mine is still sitting in Processed. I asked for a cancellation on Friday so I’ve no idea what Kobo is doing. Seriously, I have to wonder why their ordering process is so dire, no one else I ever order from (and I order a lot online) is as bad as kobo.

Someone in product development must have overlooked/ignored the fact that the Sage does not have its power button on the side, as does the Forma. Kobo somehow managed to get it right with the cover for the LibraH20 with access on the back.

It's a sleep cover. You aren't supposed to power it down, just close the cover and let it sleep and open the cover to wake it up?

I was worried when I saw the above message earlier about the sleep cover, but I just received mine and it’s really not a big deal. Not just because of the auto sleep/wake functionality that people have mentioned already, but also because it magnetically snaps in place. If you need to access the button for a power cycle it’s very easy to remove it; it doesn’t need to be “forced” out of the cover the same way that the Forma and Elipsa have to.

I use the stand function often, for example while eating. I may be interrupted and the screen may switch off before I return to my reading. I can of course take it out the cover without force, unlike most other e reader covers, as an alternative to shutting and reopening the cover. It's a slight flaw in my view, though it also occurs to me they may just not have wanted to blemish the back of such a lovely cover with a hole.

You are quite right about Kobo's ordering process, it is bizarre and laboured. If I knew they would become available in Argos or on Amazon within, say, a month of release, I would probably have waited.
