Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong with adding the code FullScreenReading=true to my config file please? I had to do a full factory reset so I am trying to re add this to my config file This is what it looks like in the config file [FeatureSettings]FullBookPageNumbers="falseFullScreenReading=true" Thanks |

Unix uses a single character at the end of a line; MS-DOS and Windows uses two characters to signify end-of-line. Most Windows tools will silently replace the unix end-of-line by the two character convention for Windows style. Numerous tools exist for Windows to replace the standard Notepad; one of the best is Notepad++ http://notepad-plus-plus.org/ ; it will ensure that changes made to a file reflect the original end-of-line encoding. |

I have no problems with slow rolling release to minimize problems. Once Kobos in Australia had show release stopping problems.

I managed to insert it correctly first time so no idea why I went wrong this time. Anyway luckily I copied the updated config file from before so just replaced the new one with the copy. Suddenly the new setting was there.

I understand how frustrating that can be. Time to read a lot to get back where you were. Or not

This is the first time I've ever downgraded a Kobo firmware. I like using the web browser from time to time. Oh well. Not like I was really looking forward to anything in 3.3 anyways. 3.2 will do until 3.3.1 or 3.4, wherever they fix the browser again.

Granted, I can install firmware manually, but feel a little bit afraid - what if something goes wrong? This thought makes me wait for auto-update.
