Cinemas shouldn't sell noisy snack and snacks in noisy packaging. Also "hover peeing" by women in public toilets should be punishable by law!

I wish we had cinemas that have those rules in the Netherlands. Lately my sister and I have been going to the Cinelounge which is a more exclusive cinema. Small, nice seats, enough leg space and with the push of a button a waiter comes to take your order. Except for the nachos and Pringles (had to lol at the poster) they haven't got anything crunchy on the menu. The combination of the more expensive tickets (but cheap drinks and snacks compared to normal cinemas), dress code and choice of movies they attract a more mature audience.
Unfortunately they aren't showing The Woman in Black which we really wanted to see. It wasn't a good choice to go see it at 5pm on Friday. A lot of the audience were teenage girls who came to see Daniel Radcliffe and hadn't realised it was a scary movie. There was a lot of screaming and eating of crisps/potato chips and popcorn with open mouth. Next time if Cinelounge isn't showing a movie I go to an early showing in the middle of the week or I wait until it's out on dvd! I did like the movie. It's a lot better than the made-for-tv film of the 1980s. Although it's a bit different than the book the changes fit the story. It had some good scary moment, nothing gory, just quick and sudden flashes of the Scary Thing. The ending was a bit corny, though and I still prefer the play over the movie. |

Medicare in Australia is probably different to yours. Only visitors and non-residents are ineligible, and even then some countries have reciprocal health agreements - Australia and the UK do for example. It covers about 85% of the scheduled fee for a doctor's visit, although some doctors of course charge more than that so the patient would have higher costs there.

Crash Update: If chest pain is not better by end of next week I will go see the doc. It will not cost a huge amount. it is just that I am pretty sure that I will pay for all this stuff to be told to do what I am doing. I have self diagnosed that the chest is stable and there is no need for emergency assistance. |

I don't know about Asian women but Dutch women can't hover pee without making the seat wet. In the toiletstalls of the cinema there is sanitiser available to clean the seat, they should use that so they can sit down or, if they want to hover, either make sure the seat is dry afterwards or put the seat up.

I was painting a fence and didn't realize how crouching was straining my thighs until the next day. Ouch! I could hardly walk. You guys must have steel thighs which can crack walnuts if you use those things regularly.

I installed one of the Washlet seats at home, and can honestly say that once I learned how to control it, it's become one of my favorite seats in the house! Warm in winter, cool in summer, with all sorts of fun buttons to push! Stitchawl |
