After I stopped with the ear drops a week ago it seems to have healed. Hopefully I'll never get an other ear infection again!

Why is it that we have this compulsion to water things? We KNOW what will happen. The stuff grows!

Not only that, but it blooms, it dies and it drops. The front and back become forests of green grasslands and leaves happily change colors and flutter to the ground. Then, those same trees stand there in all their naked glory and wait for you to clean up their discarded foliage.

Yet, I continue to water it all.

I must be crazy.

It all happily and abundantly grows for me.

I have a suspicion that somehow it is smiling happily that it has just given me a great gift. The gift that on my day off I will joyfully run for the lawnmower, the trimmer, and the giant trash can just so I could spend hours getting sweaty and dirty, as I cut, trim, blow, and sweep up everything that .....

I insanely watered so that it could just grow again.

just finished replanting, trimming and watering the yard. it feels so good to stop. but better to see the results.

Yeah, yeah, there is that.

But only after a hot shower, dinner, and good night's sleep. I seem to forget how much work it was when I see how great it looks the next day.
