Same here. I just finally ordered today because my local store did not get any in stock (after telling me they would and they would have them for sale today -- which they don't).

Otherwise I would have pre-ordered last week. So frustrated!

I ordered when it still said Sep 6, on the 30th. I hope I don't get bumped out to the 15th. This is my first Kobo reader so I'm not sure what to expect.

Agree completely, my thoughts are that I've now ordered, if I find it in person I can cancel my Smiths online order and buy it there and then, that way I know I'll be getting it. I've been checking argos every day or two just in case

I got an email this morning saying they can't ship to a P. O. box! I never gave them an address with a P. O. box! I don't even have a P. O. box! So, mine hasn't shipped yet. I sent them my address again.

I don't understand why Kobo haven't made it clear when the Aura one is suppose to be in stock outside of kobo.com.

Seems like a pretty poor marketing effort for the UK if people who are waiting for one don't even know when it's suppose to be freely available!

It shipped at last!
Happy to report mine shipped from Chapters this morning. Canada post is scheduled to turn it over to USPS Thursday. Fingers crossed for Saturday delivery reality mid to late next week knowing customs. I will be bouncing until is shows up.
