You're welcome

In all seriousness, that's why it's only there as an option, so you don't have to use it if you don't like it.

I haven't tried it yet (considering I have to exit KOReader to suspend), but how about proportional with black borders on all sides like a frame?

I'm sure there are some "covers" where that capability could be a significant improvement. Also, not all Kobos are AuraHDs.

Luck;

Oddly, it wasn't put into the File Manager menu, but is there in the reader menu (the menu when you have a book open). It is under the wrench&screwdriver icon/tab.

I experienced quite some consumption on AuraHD, over 30% a day, and dictionary haven't found anything, after some clicking reboot... Yesterday it went down from 31% to 0% in some hours. It seems as if it remains ni normal mode instead of sleep. I will check it and might report as issue... Version is 921, have you seen sg. like it? Firmware is 3.11.

If you have deleted your koreader folder, you will need to reinstall the dictionaries.

I haven't noticed any consumption problem, but I haven't been checking for that and I do charge it up whenever I notice it is down some.

Dictionary is there, and after reboot works as intended. But I can't reproduce the problem anyway, I put it to sleep 4 times, 2 times normal consumption (around 10% per day) 2 times 10% per some hours. (I know consumption metering is far from perfect, but 30-40% a day and 10% a day is quite a difference.)

Anyway, in 3.11 fw epub reader is quite quick, so I'll give it a try again, and check consumption. I don't intend to charge more than weekly. (And I had to up to this upgrade.)

Well, chances are the standby is broken. We'll see. I hope we get around to stabilize the codebase enough to push out a "stable" release in november. With the development releases, you'll always have mixed experiences. That's what they are there for - field testing.

Price of new features. I don't mind crashes, but having the device on 0% battery was not too nice experience. I hope will be fixed soon.

976 is really buggy (mini progress bar at the bottom only half visible when reading pdf's, landscape mode for pdf doesn't work) - back to 923, which is fine

using FMon, FW 3.11

936 was the last usable version.
I guess I will wait until all these refactorings are done.
Since there is a milestone for Nov 2014 I hope we soon will have a stable version again!

I expect hawhill will be able to sort it out soon enough; the man's a wizard. (Plus he wrote the code in question.)

I hope so, in the versions after 900 I had new features I liked, but also serious problems. (Actually the sleep mode is my greates problem with the recent versions.)

What about Koreader running on Aura H2O? Stable enough? Known issues?

And please we need a Koreaded subforum... it is so hard to search one megathread for information
